Wendy Welch received her BFA from Concordia University and studied visual arts in the graduate program at California State University, Los Angeles. She received an MFA from the University of Victoria in 2003. She maintains her practice in Victoria where she is founder and director at the Vancouver Island School of Art. Her work has been exhibited widely in Canada and the USA.
